Pike County Title Company is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our team full-time.

About the Position

As a Title Insurance Agent, you'll play an important role in the real estate transaction process. Responsibilities include:

  • Researching property records using computer databases and historical documents to verify ownership and identify liens, easements, encumbrances, and other matters affecting property.

  • Reviewing and interpreting documents for accuracy and completeness.

  • Learning and assisting with all aspects of the title process, from contracts through closing.

  • Working closely with team members to ensure accurate and timely title work.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Is dependable, thorough, and committed to accuracy.

  • Is willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.

  • Communicates effectively and professionally.

  • Works well both independently and as part of a team.

  • Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning specialized software and database systems.

  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous title insurance experience is welcome, but not required. We're willing to train the right person.
